Day Two - DLP at Christmas 2016

Day two! - Again, sorry if this post seems a bit rushed but I've been up since 5am, worked all morning then decorated for Christmas all afternoon, I'd love to be asleep right now! But I don't want to mess up my drafted schedule either, so here it goes!

We got up around 6:30am, got ready and headed for our 7am breakfast slot - the place was the quietest i've ever seen it! Mind you, its the first time we've ever actually made it there for 7am! Thinking about it now, I have absolutely no idea how I managed to get up and ready in 30min, I get up an hour and a half before I have to leave for work and still struggle to be ready on time!

This morning it was -4ÂșC, so absolutely freezing! We decided to head back to the room for a while after breakfast rather than spend the full two hours of Extra Magic Hours wandering on and off Buzz Lightyear's laser blast in the freezing cold weather. We headed to the park for 9am and had a ride on Buzz and Peter Pan before heading over to Pirates of the Caribbean for our first ride post-rope drop. I think this is the first trip we've ever been on where we haven't bought a ride photo during the entire trip!

After POTC we headed over to It's A Small World - my Mam's favourite,  and then onto Casey Jr - a 5min queue, last time my Mam went on this, we queued for around an hour! we skipped the Storybook ride as it was just way too cold to sit in a boat that slowly goes around outside!

We headed over to Casey's Corner and picked up a couple of hot chocolates and a brownie to share while we waited for the Christmas Parade to start. Yes, this is the third time we saw it in two days! But I love it so much, especially now it has Max Goof and Duffy Bear!

After the parade we headed over to Hakuna Matata for lunch, it was going to be closed for the rest of our trip after today so we made sure we ate there again! At lunch time a drummer comes around and gives all of the guests at tables a turn on his drum, I made a phone call to avoid having a go! Because knowing me, it'd go terribly wrong and i'd miss the drum or put my hand through it or something!

Next up we headed over to La Cabane Des Robinson / The Swiss Family Robinson Tree House, it was closed during my last trip, and there was only a few other people wandering around on it too! I took a little video but I probably wont be posting it until next year, so subscribe if you want to see it! :)

We then headed through Frontierland, stopping in shops as we passed, one of my favourites used to be the one opposite the Shooting Gallery, but its changed a lot since June and was a let down if i'm honest!

We headed over to Phantom Manor while we were in the area as it only had a five minute wait - in reality, it's a walk on, you're just waiting for the doors to open. My Mam was pretty happy to have someone on the ride with her! She's been on it so many times on her own because my brother and I would always sit together.

We headed back to the Hotel for a little break and a warm up, doing a little bit of shopping on the way - the Disneyland Paris App was stating all shops would be closed December 1st so we were trying to make sure we had everything we needed before then.

We went back to the park not long later, heading straight to Fantasyland for our first rides on Snow White and Pinocchio of the trip just before they were due to close. We then headed back to Main Street to pick up a popcorn refill for at the hotel before heading over to Disney Village to get some food and do more shopping before heading back to the hotel for hot baths and some much needed sleep!
