My fiancé bought me the December box! I'm going to just keep an eye on their Facebook/Twitter and order a box whenever I like the theme. I love Christmas, so we couldn't really skip this one!

During our Japan trip last year we went on the hunt for the creepy vending machine corner that quite a few J-vloggers have been visiting recently, and boy, was it creepy. NGL, I did briefly decide to head back to the conbini (Natural Lawson?) because it was just so eery there, but to be honest, we didn't exactly choose the best time to go, if it was a little lighter out it probably wouldn't have been as bad. We bought one of the story covered blind boxes and I even bought a can of Kirin Lemon, probably my favourite drink to have during a summers day in Japan, but, of course, this is a weird vending machine area. The machine specifically stated the temperature was high - in the 30s I think! - but I choose to assume that was an error. It was not.

Earlier this month my friends and I took a day trip to Edinburgh zoo. It's been a few years since our last trip so we were really looking forward to seeing how things had changed. We visited during the school holidays so it was pretty busy, there was even a wedding going on inside the zoo which was pretty weird but cool to see. Much like last time, the penguin parade was a bit of a flop but, we still had a great day, check out the videos below to see what we got up to and which animals we got to see.

A cheap, small and somewhat practical souvenir you can pick up at Don Quijote is your own personalised Hanko stamp. We took a video showing how quick and easy it is to get your own personalised stamp at Don Quijote. They had a few different designs and there wasn't a queue, the machine was tucked away in the far corner of the store - right by the toilets actually, so we did feel like we were in the way while we were waiting!  Are you planning a trip to Japan soon?
