Day Three - DLP at Christmas 2016

As with the last two posts, it's been a hectic couple of weeks and my next day off isn't until Wednesday so i'm having to quickly write up these posts after work the night before they go live. My eyes are still a little irritated from my hospital this afternoon as they used eye drops, so if there are any ridiculous typos, please ignore!

We were up at 6:30am again and out for breakfast for 7am ready to get to the parks for Extra Magic Hours starting at 8!

We went on Buzz Lightyear's Laser Blast twice before shopping for some new Christmas decorations - the Disneyland App was saying all of the shops would be closed the next day so today was very shopping focused!).

We headed back to the hotel around 9:30am to drop off our new decorations before heading to Walt Disney Studios. My Mam has always wanted to go on Tower Of Terror, but in the end we didn't go on, she'd hurt her back and my headaches were still coming and going from being ill in September so we decided to skip it.

We started our WDS visit by checking out the shops as this park had a couple of our favourites - only one of them was closed for the new Moana meet and greet and they don't seem to have moved any of the items into another store! BOO!

We headed to the 11:45am showing of Mickey and the Magician at around 11:15 as the queue was already building up, and the show was absolutely amazing! We had quite a rude English family sat next to us that we probably could have done without. The Mother got wrong for using flash, but just complained that she didn't understand because he was shouting in FRENCH (what? French? in France?!) and tried to pin it on the fact there were two empty seats on the other side of us, and thats not her fault, so essentially tried to say she was getting wrong because of us. But no, I explained, quite loudly, in ENGLISH! that she was getting wrong as she'd just used flash on her camera, minutes after an ENGLISH announcement demanded that flash wasn't used as it is dangerous to the performers.

After the show we were feeling pretty hungry so we headed over to Restaurant En Coulisse before revisiting the shops and jumping back over to Disneyland Park so we could see Goofy's Jingle Bell Band! We had to ask in City Hall for the times of the show as every day of our trip the only signage that was up at Cafe Hyperion/Videopolis was saying that there were no performances on a Monday or Tuesday. The show was great but the crowd consisted of around 10 people and no one sang along, even though the words came up on the screens!

After the show we headed over to Disney Village to see if the Gallery shop had the Chip & Dale decoration I wanted - the only one i'd seen during the trip was damaged and I was desperate to find one! But sadly, they didn't have any.

We then headed back to the Hotel for a warm up and to check in online for our flight - we had drama with the seating arrangements and I ended up having to contact my fiancé to get him to sort it out as the Air France website won't let you change seats via a mobile browser.

Once check in was all sorted out, we headed back to Disneyland for a ride on Phantom Manor - the CM here was way too into his job! he was scary!

We then headed over to Pirates of the Caribbean before going back on the hunt for that decoration, we tried Harringtons, they told us to try the Gallery Shop (They sent us to Harringtons!) so we tried City Hall who sent us to find the Emporium Manager (they stock checked but didn't have any in stock) and finally we asked in another shop and they said it was completely sold out! I'm still not over it, the decoration was amazing.

We headed for a popcorn refill and then out into the Village for a spot of shopping and some food before heading out to the Hotel to pack our cases.
