Barcelona - Day 4 - Sagrada Família, Barri Gòtic, Lazy Afternoon
Sagrada Família
We decided not to go in here as neither of us were really that interested in seeing the inside, plus the queue was easily a couple of hours long for tickets! The weather was pretty gloomy when we went here in the morning so the photographs we took are pretty disappointing.
Barri Gòtic & Barcelona Cathedral
After visiting Sagrada Família and a souvenir shop or two we headed over to the Gothic Quater, we had a little wander around before paying a visit to the Cathedral (again, didn't go inside). As we left the area we discovered Happy Pills and I couldn't give up a visit to a pick & mix store now, could I? We also picked one up for my brother and he loved it, i've not opened mine yet though!.
Parc Güell / Barcelona Fountains
Now, this is where our trip suddenly went very wrong. The only time slot we could get for Parc Güell was 6pm, but we'd been planning to go see the fountains that night as it was supposed to be the only night they were on - only, it turns out the website hadn't been updated and from this year they were no longer doing the Thursday shows. So we didn't get tickets to the Parc and we didn't get to see the fountains either! Its an excuse for another trip though, isn't it?

Lazy Afternoon
After the above went terribly wrong we decided to have a lazy afternoon. We wandered around the Ramblas for a while, got some Nutella and Kinder Egg icecream and then had an early evening back at the hotel to pack our suitcases ready for when we checked out in the morning.
