Pre-Disney Trip Ideas

No matter, we've got you covered with a few fun Disney themed ideas.




1. Candy Boxes

These candy boxes are a printable craft from the Disney Family website, they have many others including Valentines themed ones. Perfect for parties and small treat gifts, you can fit a few small sweets or chocolates in them. Celebrations and similar sized treats are the perfect size for these little boxes.


2. Cupcakes

These are just regular cupcakes but the toppings make them that little bit more special. They're topped with smarties arranged into Mickey head shapes and moulded chocolate Mickey heads. If you don't have a Mickey head chocolate mould you can get them from eBay for pretty cheap. I got mine from Poundland but it was about four years ago so chances are they won't have them anymore.


3. Biscuits/Cookies

Biscuits and cookies are a quick and easy treat for everyone. I have a range of Disney cookie cutters, most of which I bought from eBay and they're very well detailed. Definitely worth looking into getting some if your family are cookie fiends! Perfect for snacks and packed lunches. You can buy cookie cutters here.


4. Mickey Burgers

The buns and burgers were cut into Mickey head shapes using a cheap Mickey head pancake/egg ring that I bought from Poundland. You can pick them up cheaply on eBay or the official version - which is a lot better for pancakes - is available from Disney Parks or the official US Disney Store website.



Disney Cupcakes!

I made these cupcake case covers myself on Photoshop after finding a blank template online but you can buy Disney cupcake cases if thats easier for you.

The cupcake toppers are just printables taped onto cocktail sticks. I think I got the toppers from the Disney Family website, but otherwise all you need is a picture of your favourite characters, print them out and cut out your characters and tape them to your cocktail sticks and there you have it!

These Disney themed cupcakes are topped with 3 chocolate buttons in the shape of Mickey's head, you can also use smarties or moulded chocolate like in photo 2. above.
