Japan - Day 14 - Tokyo Character Street

We had a bit of a late start this morning, it was another rainy day in Tokyo so we headed out for lunch around 11 and then stopped by the Taito Arcade. This time we tried our hand at winning one of the candy dropper prizes - here they stack them up huge, so if you win, you win a lot! We didn't win.

We then took the train over to Tokyo Station and had a wander around Character Street, we were pretty sad to see that the Tamagotchi Store has closed down as thats pretty much the main reason we visited the place last year! We picked up some pretty nice souvenirs though, including a Station Master Snoopy to go with our Station Master Pikachu and Mametchi from last year.

We didn't stay here too long as it was really crowded, probably due to the rain, and so we headed back to the hotel, dropped off our bags and headed out to Sunshine City.

We were just wandering around, browsing, the standard mall trip thing really, before we passed Cold Stone Creamery, now, last year they had a Boruto the Movie event on where you could get a Cooler or postcard set depending on what you bought and what dates (we got the postcard because we couldn't get the cooler), and today when we walked passed they had a huge advertisement up - this time the promotion was with the PowerPuff Girls! Now, i'd still prefer the Boruto cooler but i'm so glad I managed to get the PPG one this time!

We then headed to the Sega arcade for a little while before getting some dinner and having an early night.
