Japan: Day 12 - Tokyo Disneyland Day Trip
We got up around 5-5:30am to make sure we caught an early train over to Disneyland as we still needed to buy tickets once we got there. We wore another pair of matching Tokyo Disney Resort tshirts today!
We ended up on the wrong train, well, sort of. Because the platforms were so crowded we just got on the train anyway even though it was going to terminate a couple of stops before Shin Kiba, it just meant we had to get off and wait a couple of minutes for the next one, but because we were so far down the line, the platform was practically empty so it didn't turn out too bad!
Once we got there we asked which queue was to buy tickets, and got sent to the wrong place! So by the time we got into a ticket queue, the park was already open! It kept raining on and off too, despite not being forecast at all!
We took a last look at some of the Halloween decorations before heading in and picking up Fast Passes for Monsters Inc Ride & Go, Seek! which had been closed during our visit earlier in the trip!
We popped in to Tomorrowland Terrace for a quick snack before my fiancé went for a ride on Star Tours as it was only showing a 10 minute wait. We then got a space for Halloween Pop'n LIVE so we could see this amazing Halloween Parade one last time. Max Goof stopped right in front of us!
We then headed for lunch since we were in the area before heading over for a ride on It's A Small World and Haunted Mansion Holiday Nightmare.
We picked up a Buzz Fast Pass on our way to Monsters Inc, i'm devastated we only got to go on this once this year!
We picked up some Little Green Men dumplings from Pan Galatic Pizza Port and then headed for a ride on Buzz Lightyears Astro Blasters followed by Pirates of the Caribbean and watching The Enchanted Tiki Room: Stitch Presents Aloha E Komo Mai.
Next we went on Snow White and picked up some Honey Popcorn before heading to our Buzz Fast Pass. We then had one last ride on Haunted Mansion Holiday Nightmare and Pirates of the Caribbean before heading for dinner and to do some last bits of Disney Park shopping. We then checked out the Penny Arcade as we hadn't gone in on our earlier trip and my Penny Press file was looking pretty empty!
We saw another cat wandering around the parks! We've seen four in Tokyo Disneyland now and one in Disneyland Paris! The cats in Tokyo just wander around freely though, they don't seem to be bothered by all of the people!
We took the train back to Ikebukuro around 7 and picked up something to eat on our way back to the hotel.
