New York - Day 2 - Central Park, 5th Avenue and Times Square

We got up quite late on our first day - around 7:30am although I think i'd been awake since around 6! We got some breakfast and made our plans for the day before heading out around 10am. We made our way up 5th Avenue, stopping at a few shops along the way, including Ricky's Halloween shop, a souvenir shop or two, and the Lindt shop while remembering a few we wanted to pay a visit to on our way back from Central Park rather than carrying shopping around all day. Once we got to Central Park we were greeted by this little guy below, and a lot of his friends. I love squirrels but we don't really see them where I live, the only place i've seen them is in Saltwell Park in Gateshead. The closest things we get where I live are hedgehogs, pheasants and foxes that wander into our street at night from Fulwell Quarry. We spent a couple of hours wandering around the park, its huge!
