New York - Day 3 - Bloomingdales, Dylan's Candy Bar & Shopping

Today was going to be a pretty relaxed day of shopping. Although in the end we didn't actually buy much.

We started our day by walking up to Bloomingdale's, my Mam wanted to go here but was pretty disappointed by the shop. We then crossed the road and went into Dylan's Candy Bar which is exactly where I wanted to go!

I think we spent over an hour in here, I picked up some American and Japanese sweets downstairs, along with a Lollypop Christmas decoration, before heading back upstairs to the main floor and making my way around all of the Pick & Mix stations, I then bought a little 'candy jar' to put some of my sweets in when I get home.

I loved the stairs in the shop, they're filled with sweets!

We then went back to 5th Avenue and bought a bag full of Christmas decorations, I also got a Minnie Mouse Statue of Liberty Disney Tradition collectable for my traditions collection, they had a lovely one of Mickey and Minnie sitting on Santa's knee but it was pretty big so I decided i'll just try to get it back home.

We also headed back into the Lindt shop where my Mam got herself a bag of Pick & Mix Lindor chocolates and a gift box for the ones she was going to give away when we got back home.

We stopped in shops as we wandered around but I can't really think of any others that stood out. We headed back to the hotel to get our coats before going out for food on the night and paying another visit to Times Square.

We headed back early as we had an early start the next day for our Statue of Liberty trip.

When we got back to the hotel we found that they'd just decorated for Halloween!

I'm glad this giant spider was in the Lobby and not in the lifts!
