Fenwick Christmas Window 2015




This year the theme for the Fenwick Christmas Window display is Santa crashing his sleigh into Fenwick.

I headed out to see the window yesterday and saw it once during the morning and then again in the evening once there were less people around and the glass didn't have quite as many reflections in it (during the day you get the buildings, sky, everything, then once it gets dark all you get reflected in the glass are a few shop logos).


Here is the video I took for everyone who can't make it there to see it in person, or for anyone who just wants to watch it all over again from their warm, cosy home! 



As the window had only been unveiled a few days beforehand the window was still pretty busy even after 7pm so I didn't quite manage to stay in line with the story as I needed to keep people out of view, you can follow the story as written on the windows of each part of the story though.

I think this is one of my favourite windows of recent years, definitely better than the Alice in Wonderland window from last year (video below) as it just felt a lot more festive.





Oh, and don't worry, Christmas was saved!
