NEW Tsum Tsum! Japan Trip Edition

We all knew there was no way I could take a trip to Japan, home of the Tsum Tsum and not buy any!

I set out to get a certain three tsum tsum - Leroy, Hamsterviel and Pleakley, but sadly, Pleakley wasn't available in Disneyland, DisneySea or the Disney Stores in Ikebukuro, Ikspiari or Shibuya and appears to be out of stock on the Japanese Disney Store website.

There was plenty of choice in all of the locations I tried for Tsum Tsum and there were a lot more available in the Disney Stores rather than in the parks - i'm not actually sure I even saw any in the parks at all, but with all of the other merchandise the Japanese stores get you'll have to keep your eyes on the prize so to speak to stop you buying the entire store on your way to the Tsum Tsum section!

The Japanese Disney Store gets a new set of merchandise every month, and most of it is very cute! and its not just aimed at young children either. While I was there I picked up one of the new Chip & Dale purses, but I don't have a photograph of that to show you right now, it wasn't just a stand alone item, you could get other items in the same design, but I had to stop myself before I filled our three suitcases within the first four days of the trip!

Hamsterviel (Japan Exclusive)

Leroy (Japan Exclusive)

Stitch (with flower)

This version of Stitch was also released in the UK with the rest of the Stitch set (minus Pleakley, Leroy and Hamsterviel) but only as part of the bag set and wasn't sold as a separate tsum tsum.

Chip and Dale  ( >.< expressions)

These two are part of the expressions series, which has also recently been released in the US Disney Stores, at the time of writing, we still don't have this series in the UK, although i'm not sure if they are available at Disneyland Paris as they get new Tsum Tsum before the UK and European stores do.

Oswald the lucky rabbit (Japan Exclusive)

This is another one i've only seen in Japan, its one of my favourite tsum tsums and the only one I have where the ears stay up properly on their own.

Donald Duck (polkadots) (Japan Exclusive)

This was a completely new design to me, i've never seen it before visiting Japan and only saw it the day I bought it so i'm not sure how uncommon this design is, but it was the only polkadot design character so i'm not sure if it was a full series or just a one off Donald Duck release, i'm hoping that there is or will be a polkadot Daisy version released so I can have the pair matching together.
