Fantastic 4 Review

My fiancé and I saw Fantastic Four a few weeks ago, heres what we thought.

Fantastic Four.

So there was a lot being said about how bad the new Fantastic Four movie was and I tried to watch it without thinking too much that it was going to suck.
So let's begin. This is literally the worst movie I have ever paid to see. If you're going to watch it: don't bother.
Now there was a kid upon leaving the cinema who said "that was awesome" …but we were in Sunderland. From the start of the movie it was cheesy and awful. From the introduction of Doom (clearly he was never going to be the bad guy, right?) to the going to the other dimension and getting powers, "HEEEELLLLLPPPPP MMMEEEEEEEEE!" Being shouted repeatedly and then magically suddenly they all know how to control their powers… yeah it shows their training but we didn't see "stretch Armstrong" learning to do those rubber punches which he just magically could do.
Let's compare to the first Iron Man. He first Iron Man spent a lot of time showing Tony Stark learning how to use the suit and tinkering it, and not a lot of time showing why he was in the situation in the first place.
This movie spent so long explaining why they ended up getting their powers and not a lot of what their powers were, what they could do and how they control them.
The problem is this: Sony aren't storytellers. Marvel are. Marvel know their clientele and what they want to see. Sony know money. If Marvel made this movie it would definitely have been a completely different movie.
Rachel fell asleep during the movie it was that bad.

Do not go to see this movie. Watch literally anything else. Even that Live Action Dragonball movie that was out a few years ago is better.

Note from Rachel: Falling asleep isn't necessarily linked with the movie, it was less than 24 hours after we arrived back from Japan!
