Day 4 - Disney Park Hopper

This was our third and final day at Tokyo Disney Resort, we'd bought a matching pair of tshirts so we'd fit in with everyone else (seriously, pretty much every couple and group of friends were wearing matching or identical tshirts and outfits! if we did that back home we'd definitely get some weird looks!)

We started our day over at DisneySea, we missed out on Toy Story Mania Fastpasses again though!

On the way we passed the Stitch liner monorail, later in the day we finally got to ride it on our way to Ikspiari.

Our first stop in DisneySea was the popcorn stall outside of Cape Cod Cook-Off as we wanted to try chocolate popcorn but it was closing when we got there the night before. The popcorn was horrible.

Because we didn't like it we then tried the white chocolate popcorn, it was worse, it tasted sort of cheesy. I actually feel a little sick thinking about it.

I spent the morning in DisneySea taking photographs as i'd not taken my DSLR the day before, so I have some nice ones to remember the trip by. I haven't taken any of the trip photographs off my camera yet so i'll probably do a post next month or something of my DSLR photographs, or you'll be able to see them over on my photography blog sooner than that.

After lunch we headed out of DisneySea and over to Ikspiari as my fiancé needed to visit the Body Shop and get some stuff for his feet. I got my usual 'leg mint', basically its a cooling leg gel, its ideal for tired legs, I use it after hectic days and seasons at work (mainly at Christmas, when putting cold mint on your legs is the most painful thing you can do!). We then headed back to the hotel for an hour or so, so he could deal with his feet before heading back out and visiting Disneyland. We took the monorail from DisneySea to save our feet the uphill walk to Disneyland.

Happiness is here hadn't been on on our first trip to Tokyo Disneyland and we weren't expecting it to be on this time either, so we were surprised when we were sat outside of the hot dog place (Refreshment Corner I think) when we suddenly heard a 'programme reminder' announcement (seriously though, why don't California, Florida or Paris have these announcements?) for the parade. So we finished eating and headed over to get a good space. I was really happy with my view, we weren't too far back and my view wasn't really obstructed by other people as we were stood at the fence behind the priority seating section. I just love how the castle is right there in the background.

After that we went over to the wait times board and then headed off to go on a few rides, I think we started with Pirates of the Caribbean and Haunted Mansion but I can't remember where we went after that.

I really did like the Tokyo Disney Resort but I think if I ever revisit Japan i'll probably go in the spring time, as 47ÂșC heat just was too much to handle in the Disney parks, especially when it was our first few days and we hadn't been able to adjust to the heat yet. We didn't get as many rides done as we just didn't have the energy to queue up in the sun.

The best three things we bought in the Disney Parks, well most practical for a summer trip, were our bottle cooler bags (although they're a bit big), our hand fans and our neck towels. I'm not entirely sure what they actually call them in Japan, but if you visit in summer you'll see a lot of people walking around with a small towel around their neck, its to stop and dry sweat with, it doesn't sound very nice, but you'll understand if you visit Japan in August.
