London Trip 2016 - Day Two
Up early and down for breakfast just after 8am!
They've rearranged the restaurant and its not as practical as it used to be, but it looks nicer.
We headed out around 9:30 as the places we were going weren't due to open until 10am.
Covent Garden
We headed straight over to Covent Garden, stopping in the Moomin Shop and Disney Store pretty much as soon as we arrived. I got a nice little Moomin bauble for our Christmas tree! (Are you seeing a pattern here?!)
Then we wandered into the market for a while, where I noticed these Pokémon GO Tshirts.
I was going to pick up a Valor shirt or two, but I figured my fiancé and I probably wouldn't wear them.
We then walked over to CyberCandy but it was closed for refurbishment!
I picked up a Dr Pepper Cherry and then we wandered around China Town for a while before getting lunch and heading over to Camden.
Camden
First off, as soon as we arrived in Camden I rushed over to the Vans Store as there was a jacket i'd been looking at online, but it wasn't as nice in person.
They didn't have anything I wanted so I figured we'd just go to the Carnaby Street store later in the day and just head out into the markets for now.
We wandered around for an hour or so, stopping by a lovely little sweet shop on the way - they even sold Japanese DIY Candy kits! But sadly, I can't remember what the store was called.
By then the heat was getting almost unbearable and we headed on the hunt for a McDonalds - I got yet another frozen strawberry lemonade. They're my favourite thing right now.
We headed back to the hotel for a quick break - I dropped off my camera bag as really, this was a shopping trip, in 31ºC and I really was just carrying it around rather than using it!
Carnaby Street
We headed straight to Carnaby Street once we headed back out, we tried Drop Dead again incase they'd had a delivery, but they hadn't, and the Vans store didn't have anything good in either. The Uniqlo around Piccadilly didn't even stock the Disney series, it was a pretty disappointing shopping trip!
Leicester Square
We then headed back to Leicester Square via M&Ms World and then onto all of the souvenir shops looking for something for my Dad.
