Japan Plan Update

Yen

We've exchanged picked up our spending money, but we still need to pick up a bit more - I need another 36,900¥ to finish off one of our hotel payments and to buy my Multi-Day Passport Special ticket when we check into Disney's Ambassador Hotel. I've ordered the last of the Yen, but I still need to pick it up and pay for it. Just waiting on the email saying its arrived and waiting for me!

Euros

I held back a few Euros for our connections, because that five hour connection at Charles De Gaulle is going to be a pain, just like last year! But, nothing a bag of Lays and a packet of Haribo Orangina sweets can't fix.

Plan

Our timetable plan hasn't really changed for a while, I think we're keeping our options open and our plans loose except for a few things that we've booked specific dates for (Disneyland/DisneySea) as our plans went completely out the window from the day we arrived last year due to a flight delay, so trying to squeeze everything in didn't really work out.

I'm so worried though, we were lucky with our flight delay last year (only half of our flight got onto the next flight, the rest didn't fly until the next day, and they had to fly via Osaka so it took a lot longer for them to get there!). I'd be happy with a delay on our connection this time as our connection is around 60min!! but I'd hate to end up on a cancelled flight, or for our first flight to be delayed.

Packing Update

The cases are still in the loft, but I think* I have everything now except food I want to take with us and food for on the plane.

I need to remember to take an EU adapter with us for our waits in the airport.
And remember to put it in the hand luggage, I somehow ended up repacking it on the way home in June!

I bought a new battery power pack for my iPhone, it's a bit more powerful than my InCase pack so it should give me around two and a half charges I think. I bought it from Amazon.

Printables

I've printed the hotel documents, a voucher for Sanrio Puroland, our insurance contact/policy info sheet (full details are accessible online) and our extra suitcase on return documentation as we booked it over the phone.

I still need to print out our flight info, timetable once its 100% set and a copy of our passport photopages, just incase!

Cat Cafe

I had been putting off visiting the cat cafes in Newcastle last year, because I wanted my first Cat Cafe to be one in Japan, but in the end we didn't have time to visit one last year.
So this year, I'm hoping to finally get to visit one in Japan! Theres one called MoCHA near our hotel and you can pay for a short visit of just 10 minutes! So we should be able to squeeze in a visit here.

Theres also a hedgehog cafe that we're trying to squeeze in a trip to.
A few years ago, a hedgehog fell into our garden and we looked after it until it was strong enough to go back out into the wild, it was living in the gap between our fence and the fence next door. We fed it cat food and once it was walking around properly again, we took it back out to Fulwell Quarry where it came from.
I miss little Hedgy so much though.

Pokémon GO

The game i've waited most of my life for, of course we'll be playing while we're in Japan, we need to get our hands on that Farfetch'd!
I know a couple of people who have moved to Tokyo and they've posted plenty of amazing screenshots showing just how many PokéStops and Pokémon are lurking in the city!
