DLP Packing List - June

With the weather forecast showing a lovely average of 20-24ºC during my trip (although, the forecast is changing practically every time I refresh accuweather!) I thought i'd better think about what I need to pack for my trip (writing this pre-trip!) this time round as its been quite a while since I visited during the summer!

This is my list for Christmas/Winter trips so if you're not heading over in the summer, we've still got you covered with a packing list! :)

Shorts

Even if it's just one pair because you know how quickly the weather/forecast can change.
You want to have a pair of shorts, and trainer socks for those days when it gets unexpectedly hot and sunny!

Suncream*

I guess this one depends on how much you burn, but its a must in high summer even if you're just using a low factor. Paris gets a lot hotter and a higher UV rating than we get over here in the UK.

Spare Socks

For those days it rains and you rush back to the hotel for shelter. You'll want some nice dry socks for when you venture back out later.

Umbrella

To keep yourself dry when it does rain!
Or you could always pick up a Poncho in the parks, it keeps you dry and your hands free!

Jacket

It gets cold waiting for Dreams to start at night!

Light/Canvas Shoes

Keep your feet cool and comfortable! They'll not really keep the water out if/when it does rain, but they're easier to dry with a hair drier - or you could bring a spare pair as they're not going to eat into your luggage allowance too much!

Snacks

Standard really.
A little snack for in the queues or your hotel room - it's cheaper than buying in your hotel/the parks or the train station/garage.
