Disney's Hotel New York Review
We stayed at Disney's Hotel New York for the first time from June 5th to June 9th and I thought i'd take a moment to let you all know about our stay!

We stayed in room 2209 in Gramercy Park, and the room was absolutely beautiful! So spacious and not the worst view, I suppose, I've had worse views from other hotels. Our room was in a pretty good location, easy and quick access to breakfast, reception, the concierge and the hotel shop, we didn't use the pool or any of the other facilities.
When we arrived into our room, we did hit our first problem with the hotel - the lock on our door wasn't working!
We stopped by the reception desk who told us they'd send someone up and we could go out to the parks, but when we returned a few hours later we found that no one had been!
Another trip to reception and we were told we'd need to be in this time (i'm guessing it's because our luggage was already in our room) and not long later a handyman had been and fixed the door, although we're not sure it was 100% right.
The next night, we had another problem! We arrived back around 10/11pm to notice something dripping - the air conditioning had broke! And the carpet was soaked.
We called down and they sent someone up urgently. He thought he'd fixed it, but when he put the air conditioning back on to test it, the drip started coming out more like a tap turned on full power!
He called reception and had us moved to room 2207. The room next door.
It didn't take long to move our stuff into our new room, but we did feel let down by the second room, as although the view from the room was slightly better, the layout of the room wasn't as good as our original room. The original room had a big double bed and a sofa, and our second room had a table and chairs with two smaller double beds.
Although we've had two bad experiences on one trip, the only bad on-site problems we've had at Disneyland Paris over the space of 9 Disney hotel stays, I still won't let these bad experiences stop me from staying at the Hotel New York again as I know it is due a major refurb, so we shouldn't have any of these problems again next time.
