Top 10 Disney Movies

Lion King

I absolutely adore the original Lion King movie, and when it rereleased a couple of years ago I even dragged my fiancé to see it at the cinema. It was heartbreaking though, a small girl needed the bathroom and as she came back Mufasa had just died and all you could hear in the screening room was her asking why "Simba's Daddy" wont wake up.

Toy Story 3

This came out back while I was in college and I just had to see it after growing up loving the first two - my Dad actually 'camped out' ready for the Disney Store opening to get me my Buzz Lightyear and Woody toys for Christmas, only for my brother, years later, to take Woody shopping and lose his hat! Anyway, back on topic, watching this while I was a student really connected me to the Toy Story franchise, it's like Andy and I grew up together.

A Goofy Movie

I think this is probably my most favourite Disney movie ever! I used to love watching this every Summer when the Disney Channel would air it during the holidays, the extremely Goofy movie was amazing too. I just love Max Goof - it took me to my fourth Disney Resort to track him down in real life though, and I chickened out of meeting him! But hey, theres always another chance when we go back in September, and considering he's on the Aquarius drink bottles they sell in the parks, i'm guessing he's pretty popular over there!

The Aristocats

It's about cats! Of course I love it!
Another childhood favourite, and I don't know what it is about it, but my entire life whenever i've thought of this movie i've visually remembered the scene where Roquefort eats his cracker.

Bedknobs and Broomsticks

Another childhood favourite! It's quite an old one so i'm not even sure how I saw this originally but it's still one of my absolute favourite films to date. I can't help but sing along with Bobbing Along/The Beautiful Briny Sea and Portobello Road.

Big Hero 6

After waiting ages for this to finally release in the UK, my fiancé and I rushed to the cinema to see it and we both fell in love with it, which is weird because he only really seems to like Who framed Roger Rabbit! Hiro and Baymax are probably my favourite recent characters from a Disney film.

Toy Story

Well, I couldn't have the third instalment in my list and not include the original now, could I?
This was my absolute favourite movie when I was a kid and I still love it now, although i'm not as keen on the second movie, the original and third are great.

Monster's University

This actually came out a year after I graduated, but I just can't help feeling connected to and loving all the college and university themed Disney movies. I just want to be a student again.

Ratatouille

I'm not sure why I love this movie so much! I think its because it was one of my little brother's favourites when he was little, and he absolutely loved meeting Remy and Emile in Disneyland Paris not long after the movie came out. He even got a cuddly Remy while we were on that trip, and i'm pretty sure its still in his bedroom now.

Lilo & Stitch

This one is self explanatory really - I love anything to do with Stitch!
