Mog On The Tyne

On Tuesday me, my fiancé and our friend Jess finally paid a visit to Mog on the Tyne, we've been planning on going since it opened but have never been able to schedule it since we all work different days and hours! But we finally managed it so here are some photographs from our visit.

Mog on the Tyne is located at 24 Pudding Chare (go down the street opposite Pop World at Bigg Market) and is open from 11am-7pm Tuesday-Friday and 10am-7pm on Saturday and Sunday. They close on Mondays. You can book a time slot on the website, or you may be lucky enough to get a walk in visit if you go at some of the slower visiting times. Its £5 each for an hour, or £7.50 each for two hours.

They have a food and drink menu (no photograph, sorry!) offering hot and cold drinks, soups, crisps, cakes and Pawninis. My fiancé and I got hot chocolates (photo above) and my friend Jess got a tea and a Victorian Lemonade. I definitely recommend the hot chocolate if you're visiting in the winter!

The cats are attracted to food and drinks, so i'm not going to give you any spoilers in this post but there some mischief going on in the video i'll post at the bottom!

This little cutie is Stan the man, he's quickly turning into the mascot of Mog on the Tyne as everyone loves him so much! He's the oldest cat in the group and like the other cats, he was rescued from Westgate Ark.

Now, this little monster is a bit naughty! Jess's Primark bag was bitted, climbed in, and slept on for the majority of the hour we visited. We managed to get her new clothes out of the bag, which meant that the bag wasn't interesting anymore and was just left as a big flat piece of paper on the floor... until another cat quickly jumped on and settled down!

This is Maggie, I can't help but let out an 'awww' every time I see this photo. She's just the cutest!

We'd booked into the last time slot of the day and when we arrived there were only two other people in the place, they left not long after we arrived. And then at around 6:30 two more people came in, but other than that we had all of the cats completely to ourselves! The only downside with visiting so late is that they were a little tired and they know what time they get fed! So they spent the last 10min sat by the door waiting for food.

I bought a tshirt as we left, and we were all given loyalty stamp cards, once you've had three visits, you get one free!

We all really enjoyed our hour at Mog on the Tyne and are already planning on going back!

Here is my video from our visit
