London Zoo, March 2014

In March we took our first visit to London Zoo.

It was a sunny, warm day so the zoo was quite busy, especially with it being a Sunday.

The zoo is quite big and we didn't get to see everything, but we did see most of the animals we wanted to see.

We even got a good view of the lions, which is something that i've never had in other zoos as the big cats are usually always sleeping.

The ants in one exhibit were very interesting as i've never seen an insect exhibit set up out of a tank before.
[The ants run up and down ropes gathering food and then dropping it into their home before going back for more]
[[Don't touch them or the rope, the ants do bite]]

Here are a few of my favourite photos I took at the zoo.

If you have a free day in London, you should definitely take a visit to London Zoo and Regents Park, the zoo has plenty to see and do to fill your day, and the park is huge, the perfect place to relax after a long day of walking around the zoo.
