San Diego SeaWorld

If you're planning on visiting SeaWorld, make this your first in park purchase.

In many parks (SeaWorld, Universal) and zoos you can buy a refillable cup, these either give free or cheap refills for the rest of the day, so they're definitely a good investment.

Now I know a lot of people don't agree with SeaWorld, or people who visit the parks, but SeaWorld aren't all bad, they do do some good things, they just really should improve on a few things like tank sizes.

But anyway, thats not what this post is about.

We caught the shows: Blue Horizons, One Ocean and Sea Lions Live.

The theatres are all outdoors, so if you visit make sure you have enough suncream, and a hat! I ended up having to buy one in the park as my head was burning as we watched the shows.

Essentially, a trip to SeaWorld is a relaxing day compared to visiting the Disney Parks, there isn't as much walking or queuing involved, and if you watch the shows you'll spend quite a lot of your time sitting down. I don't think theres enough to do to need to be there for park opening and stay until closing so this is definitely a park visit that will allow you to have some extra time in bed after a long day at Disney/Universal.

This was my favourite piece of SeaWorld merchandise.

A Shamu Christmas tree decoration!
