The Return Of The Spending Ban

It's that time of year again, January, the month I always start myself off on a spending ban. This time I really have to stick to it though! Not only are we running out of space to keep everything, we've also got an entire house to get fixed up, plastered, decorated and four holidays coming up!

My main goals are to cut down on buying sweets, random cute things, stationary that I don't need, and tsum tsums/collectables that i'm not fully in love with. I might cut out my weekly Lush bath bomb again too, they're getting pretty boring and the quality just isn't controlled! In the last couple of months i've had a northern lights that dyed my hands a dark pink and a golden wonder that fell apart into different sections pretty much the moment it hit the water.

I managed to get through Amazon's Black Friday week without buying anything I didn't need in November, in fact, I think I only bought something for my cat. I was only really looking for a new pair of shoes - the exact ones I bought Black Friday 2015, as i'd had them in my basket at £24, and then when I went to pay the next day they'd shot up to £42! and i'm just not too sure I want to spend £42 on a second pair of the same shoes (they're so warm and comfy though, best winter shoes i've ever had).

I aim to update monthly on my spending ban, but wether or not I keep that up, we'll just have to see.
I'll still be spending, just, hopefully, not on useless stuff that I don't need. I fell a bit behind on my holiday payments when I was off sick for two months so I need to get caught up on those!
