Cinema: Alvin & The Chipmunks: The Road Chip Review

Last night my fiancé and I went to a preview screening of Alvin & The Chipmunks: Roadchip, and as always i've left him to write the review because i'm probably a bit biased, I love the Chipmunks and might have done a little crying in the movie because there were a few cute, moving moments that I obviously just couldn't deal with with a dry face!

The Chipmunks - Road Chip

So, it's been a while since I saw My Name is Earl, back when me and Rachel were younger and I used to walk 45 minutes to her house to see her and 45 back at 2am in all weather, mostly turning up either freezing cold or soaking wet.

The point is, I recognised Crabman in this movie as Barry, the record producer. Everybody already knew that Earl was Dave.

So this movie is actually quite good, it starts off with a party and ends with a destroyed house. Getting from one thing to another takes them from LA to Florida, where they get put on the no fly list after causing havoc on a plane and have to drive / walk all the way to stop Dave getting engaged. Tagging along is his future fiancée's bully son Miles who doesn't like the Chipmunks so he decides to help them in order to not be related to them.

To raise funds to go across the U.S. They end up busking, making friends with Miles and performing in a New Orleans carnival, where angry Dave notices them on T.V. and Twitter then comes, picks them up and takes them to Florida with him.

Then they ruin everything again and sing and everything gets better.
