Exploding Kittens
At the weekend my fiancé told me to download this new iPhone app game called Exploding Kittens, it's the app version of the original card game. At first the name put me off, and the fact that you have to be near the person you're playing with or you can't play - but they're working on online play so it won't be too long until you can play whenever with whoever.
He beat me on my first two games, and I won the next seven or so in a row!
It's a pretty easy game, and the app version makes it a little easier than the actual card game - you don't really need to flip your cards or shuffle the deck when you use the shuffle or cat butt cards, the app pretty much does everything for you.
If you get this game, you have to play it with the sound on at least once!
The aim of the game is not to be killed by the exploding kitten card - you each start with 1 defuse card and there is a third card hidden in the deck, you need the defuse card if you want to save yourself from a kitten explosion.
My technuque is to spend my first few turns picking up cards - the exploding kitten usually appears when there are around 10 cards left in the deck so thats around the time you want to use a see the future card before you make your next move - or if you don't have one, maybe you have a draw from the bottom card, that comes in handy here too. The rest of your game play is up to you! Save your skips and slaps for when theres only 1-3 cards left in the deck though, they really help that far on in the game!
