My Sunday


Two 'Sunday' posts in a row! I've basically been at work the entire month so haven't had any time to do anything else that I could write about!


So here was my day:


I got up at 6am and got ready to start work, I was going in for an early 8am start! The shift went really quickly as it was crazy, so much running!

I finished work at 4:30 and went over to my fiancé's house with my Mam, we put up some of our new furniture (maybe i'll put up a post for that later). And ok, so by 'we' I actually mean, I wandered into the kitchen while my fiancé and Mam put the furniture together, I went in there to find food, and in the end broke the garage door. Its fixed now, but theres definitely something wrong when I can push a door to put the second lock in and it just pushes 3 inches too far and jams :')


I dropped my Mam back off at home and then my fiancé and I headed to the beach. We got something to eat and then wandered into the arcade for a little while since it was so cold at the beach. I had a go on a crank prize game, I'd played it twice during Sunnycon last year and got two prizes through landing on the instant win light.

On this day, I won four. The full set.


There they are sitting in the back of my car.
They're pretty cheap prizes, and they all have dark marks on them.
I just like winning things.


When I got home I found this on my computer chair.
Doesn't seem too impressed that i'm back and want the chair.


By the time this post goes live i'll be at the Stadium of Light seeing the Foo Fighters. Well, they won't be on, the doors will just be opening, but you know what I mean. Its been 10 years and 18 days since I last saw them, and to be honest, i'm not the hugest fan, the people i'm going with, and myself haven't really listened to them since the last time they played in Sunderland (Radio One Big Weekend 2005), although, i'm glad tickets were easy to get this time, I did miss sitting with a group of friends overnight, in a huge queue at the civic centre.


Nothing happens in Sunderland anymore.
