Berlin - Day Four

We were up at 8am and out to breakfast at 9:30. We took a train at 10 and headed over to Victory Column, there are so many stairs in there! We spent a little while at the top (there was a school trip and a terrified little boy crying and clinging onto the building) and took a few timelapse videos before climbing all the way back down those terrifying, crowded stairs and heading over to Tiergarten.

We wandered around Tiergarten for a while before heading for lunch and quickly stopping off at the hotel afterwards. We then headed over to the Berlin Wall memorial, spending around an hour and a half there before heading off to do some shopping. We only really bought anything in Tiger, i'd planned on going to Vans but decided to keep our last 100€ and put it towards our Rome trip. We picked up some pretzels at Ditsch on the way back to the hotel and had a rest for a little while before heading out for dinner.

We then had our baths, finished off packing and then headed to bed, with an alarm set for 2am!!
We both struggled to get any sleep.

- Day 5 -

Alarm set for 2am, we jumped up, and got ready before packing our final things once my hair straighteners had cooled down. I had Pom Bears for breakfast before heading down to the lobby to wait for our private transfer. Our driver arrived with hands full of orange wedges, he seemed so happy though.

The airport was so weird, crowded and small with not many facilities.
Once we arrived back in Newcastle we picked up sandwiches from Greggs (so I could take my medication) before taking the Metro home.
