Japan Trip Update!

Just another quick Japan trip planning update, on Tuesday we booked our hotel for Osaka!

We've booked the Granvia Osaka, we've previously stayed at the Granvia Hiroshima and the place was great, the best thing about the Granvia hotels is that they're located within the JR Stations, so early trains out are easy to catch and you have to get that extra little bit of sleep and late trains in bring to practically straight to your room so you're ready to crash.

We've not actually booked our JR Passes yet!
But, I received an email from Expedia offering the Granvia Osaka at a great rate with only one room left so I just snatched it up, it has free cancellation until a couple of days before the arrival date so i'm not worrying too much about that.
It's sadly not Granvia floor, but it has a city view so it'll do!

The other reason we've chosen the Granvia hotels for our travels this time is it means we wont need to worry about getting a luggage locker after some very near misses back on our first trip, this way we can just go straight to the hotel and drop stuff off there and we can leave it there after we check out.

We've also managed to book our Chip n Dale room for our stay at Tokyo Disney Resort!
We're planning on adding an extra night or two at the MyStays Maihama too - it's just easier to arrive and leave at a quiet time rather than get on commuter trains with luggage.

The next thing on our planning list is - luggage!
It's, well, the second time i'll be travelling long haul since starting Tecfidera and I know it doesn't fit in my camera bag, my purse barely fits as it is. So i'm looking at either taking an extra piece - perhaps a wheeled cabin backpack, or just taking my Manfrotto DSLR backpack, it'll have enough space for my camera, lenses, accessories, and my jacket, purse and medication.
But, it's pretty bulky and not flexible at all, and I hate putting stuff up in the lockers, especially expensive cameras and light coloured bags!

I really need to double check with the embassy about my medication too, incase there are any forms or anything I need to fill out. Anyone got any experience of this?
