Japan Funbox Mini Box Review*

As you may have seen in my previous posts, i'm a pretty big fan of blind boxes and subscription boxes - you never know what you're going to get and I just love being surprised when I open the boxes! I was recently offered a Japanese Candy Box - Japan Funbox mini subscription box to try out and, of course, I jumped at the chance!

Japan Funbox offers free worldwide shipping and ships directly from Japan so you get authentic Japanese snacks and candy and the most recently released cool treats and even limited edition releases - in Japan they have to fight over shelf space in stores so theres always crazy and cool new flavours coming out for limited periods of time - like the Pepsi Sakura from earlier this year.

I loved the design on the box, its so simple but cute at the same time, my postman seemed pretty interested in it too!

Now, on to the good bit - opening the box!

This was the mini subscription box - which comes in at only $14.99 per month - thats around £11.32 and considering the postage from Japan is included in the price thats quite a bargain for all of these delicious snacks!
But if you're still not convinced, if you look around the Japan Funbox website, you might stumble across a popup offering you a discount code for signing up to the mailing list. :)

If you really want some cool and interesting Japanese snacks but the mini box just isn't enough for you, Japan Funbox also offer the Original box ($32.99 per month) which includes 15-20 items and the Family box ($49.99 per month) which includes a whopping 25-30 items every month and guarantees you two DIY candy kits and special items!

Here you can see everything thats included in this months mini boxes and original boxes, you get a lot more in the original box - and if you have the original one coming I definitely recommend the Crunky and my work colleagues loved the Green Tea KitKats when I brought some home from my Japan trip last year.

I've not tried any of the cool and delicious looking snacks in this box yet as I want to save them for when I get back from Tokyo, a little something to soften the post-holiday blues! I'm definitely looking forward to eating the Umaibo though as up until now i've only tried the cheese flavour, but I loved them! They're basically a big crunchy wotsit! And i'm not sure i'll be able to resist eating the Caramel Corn before my trip, the packaging is cute and it tastes so good!

I would definitely recommend this box for lovers of Japanese candy and snacks, and even just the adventurous snackers who want to try something different and new.
