The Lion King Musical
In September the Lion King Musical travelled to Sunderland.
My fiancé and I got premium tickets for opening night the day they were released.
I've seen the show before and it was just as good as when I saw it in London.
My fiancé hadn't seen it before and I think it was ruined a bit by the large group of friends/family/kids directly in front of us who were loud, obnoxious and at one point tried to start a fight with the two girls sitting next to us.
Every one of the girls/women sitting in front of us were wearing the Hakuna Matata tshirt that Primark had been selling that summer.
After the first couple of songs they calmed down a bit, stopped flailing around and blocking peoples view (the fight was because the girl next to us asked the woman to sit up as she was blocking her view when she leaned out into the balcony [despite the balcony having a sign on it asking you to refrain from doing so]) so everyone could go back to enjoying the show, as they didn't start flailing again until Hakuna Matata was performed.
