NFCC October 2017

Last month NFCC returned to Newcastle's Metro Radio Arena, and as usual we picked up a pair of early entry tickets for the Sunday event.

Our day got off to a pretty bad start - Metro delays, major Metro delays.
We ended up having to take an Uber, and I got charged £1.50 for tapping in at the station and then back out after they announced the delays.

We arrived around 10:15, so still had 45min of early entry time, the event is pretty impractical now and plenty of people were being turned away - there is a no backpack rule and the event didn't feel the need to inform guests on the website or in the confirmation email.

The Arena was empty this time round, and only half as many stalls, they did have a Big Bang Theory photoset up - but we couldn't see any prices displayed anywhere.

11am came and we expected the place to get flooded with people like it usually does.

It didn't.

We left not long after, there wasn't much of a queue when we left - just groups of kid's waiting for family members to come and pick their backpacks up so they could get into the arena.
