So, I have been putting off writing this for a while now! Mostly because I didn't write any notes for our first day for some reason! So, from what I can remember - We were up pretty early in the morning - around 2am I think! Our flight was just after 6am so we headed off to get to the airport by 4am. The baggage drop off queue was pretty long, but we got through security pretty quickly and were soon in departures getting something to eat before our flight. The journey was pretty uneventful, and we rushed through to the immigration desks - now, I know, you're on holiday, take it easy, but no! If you're flying into a major airport you should rush to these desks for a good place in the queue. We were one of the first from our flight to reach the queues, and, despite still being able to access the EU queue right now, we were stood in that line for around an hour! It's been a whole month since our last 50 things update! We've crossed off another five things, but since theres only a few months left of the year now i'm pretty worried we won't be able to complete the entire thing! (probably won't be doing 30 and 31 to be honest. Scrapbooking is an expensive and messy hobby and we're in the middle of sorting out our house! We finally have a new fence and an outside tap!. So, it's been 10 whole years since I left secondary school. I thought I'd take this opportunity to see just how much i'd achieved and experienced in these past 10 years. - After School I went to College, achieving a Triple Distinction in ND Photography. - At the end of my ND course I got my little furbaby, Tim Cat. - After ND I took a FD Commercial Photography course, I don't actually remember the grade due to the third point below. - During my FD course I passed my driving test - first time! - In the Summer between the two FD years I went to my first real (e.g not BBC Weekend) music festival - Leeds Fest! to see Blink 182 for the second time and The Libertines! - After FD I topped up my degree to a BA, achieving a 2:1 in Creative Practice (Photography). - Just before graduation I applied for 10 jobs (not photography ones, you needed retail experience for them all!), and within a few weeks i'd started my first job. ...

A few Sundays ago we finally went off and crossed another item off our long to do list for 2017 - visiting Tynemouth Market. It's something we've been planning on doing for a few years but never had the opportunity - until last July I was contracted the entire weekend at work and those were my fiancé's only two days off! We took the Metro over, it was a lovely sunny day, we didn't stay long in the end but had a nice wander and look around for about an hour. There were some lovely painted wood decorations, I wanted one of the Disney ones for our house but there was a hole right in the middle of the wood so we decided against it. In the end we only left with four bags of sweets! We looked at a stall selling loads of Disney Pins but decided not to get any because we don't have our pin display set up yet, so we went on to see a, well, builder/general handyman and got some information about some of the work we want doing on our house and took one...
