My Top 5 Lush Bath Bomb

Image
1. Twilight This has been my favourite bath bomb for a long time now, its one of the more entertaining ones to watch with a good mix of colours and glitter! Relaxing bedtime bath bomb. 2. Intergalactic Similar to the Twilight bathbomb but with a bigger range of colours, it feels more motivational than relaxing to me. 3. Autumn Leaf This one took the spot away from Northern Lights as the new version if it is no where near as good! Plus the purple 'barrel' that is left behind when the colours finish fizzing dyes your skin a dark pink on contact! Autumn Leaf has a lovely scent and amazing colours. 4. Nevermind The Ballistics The scent of this bath bomb packs a powerful citrusy punch, its not the most exciting to watch dissolve but I think I love it most for its design - an obvious rip off from the Sex Pistols' album Nevermind The Bollocks, which was my favourite band/album for the majority of my teenage years. It feels in...

Spending Ban Update

Image
It's finally time to see how I got on with the spending ban last month! What I've spent money on: Valentines Gifts & Card Vitamins Food & Drinks Olloclip for iPhone 7 (half gift cards) Disney Tsum Tsums Holiday Payments ISA Savings Pill Cases for my Tecfidera London train travel & hotel Pusheen tshirt Gudetama Funko POP figure New blanket for the cat Aladdin Tickets All in all, I haven't really broken the spending ban, other than the tsum tsums and Gudetama POP I haven't really bought anything I don't really need. The Olloclip I get every time I get the new version of the iPhone and I use it quite a bit, the trip to London was because its nice just to have a little weekend away when we can, plus we both wanted to see Aladdin, we did compromise on this a little and get cheaper seats than we would usually go for as it was more of a quick budget trip a couple of weeks before we head off to Berlin. I've spent quite a chun...

After a lot of Googling, I thought I would take this opportunity to share my first month on Tecfidera with you all as everyone who is new to the MS Medication wants to know more about the side effects and what to expect. Decluttering Update

Image
So, as its now 2017, I got started on our list of 50 things to do in 2017. This is our first decluttering update and heres the list of what we've managed to get rid of so far... Three souvenir refill cups thrown away Star Wars movie cup gone M&Ms Olympic Dispenser thrown Popcorn bucket (used for storage) thrown Five tshirts to eBay 2 Pairs of old gloves thrown away Rancid wallet to eBay Famous Stars and Straps sweatbands to eBay Cleared out the eBay cupboard, things that haven't sold for months were thrown away Listing our step machine for sale Thrown away the purse i've used since college Gave away the majority of my childhood books - including the entire Mr Men series and Percy the Park Keeper. I was hoping to have gotten rid of more than this by now but I ended up having some really bad side effects from my medication at the end of January so spent almost an entire week in bed. Hopefully we'll get more done in February! But ...

Chinese New Year 2017

Image
On Sunday my fiancé and I headed over to Newcastle's China Town for their Chinese New Year celebrations! We experienced it a little differently this year - we usually head there around two hours before the entertainment is due to start to ensure we have a good spot on the barrier for photography and videography, but this year we headed through late, and I didn't even take my cameras (to be honest, the crowds get a bit.. pushy, and with my DSLR being damaged still it just wasn't even worth the risk to take it with me. Here is a video of the Lion, Dragon and Unicorn dance before they headed up towards the Chinese Arch. Theres also a walk around the Chinese Market stalls and mini funfair at the end of the video.
