Money Saving Tips

Image
Ah, January, the time of year we're all aiming to lose weight and save money. Here are a few of my Money Saving Tips to help you on your money saving journey. TopCashBack TopCashBack is a great website, you just shop as usual but before you go on your chosen website, click through the link in the TopCashBack website and you'll get a little bit of cash back into your TCP account if you place an eligible order. I started using the website back when I was a student, but i've managed to gain £767 in cashback throughout the years. Savings Tins There are a ton of different savings guides around to help you fill your savings tins. The most popular one seems to be to save £1 for every week of the year (e.g week 1 - £1, week 2 - £2) but a lot of people have suggested doing this backwards and starting at £52 for week one as you don't want your highest payments to be during the Christmas season! Personally, I just empty any change I have into my savings tins...

The Return Of The Spending Ban

Image
It's that time of year again, January, the month I always start myself off on a spending ban. This time I really have to stick to it though! Not only are we running out of space to keep everything, we've also got an entire house to get fixed up, plastered, decorated and four holidays coming up! My main goals are to cut down on buying sweets, random cute things, stationary that I don't need, and tsum tsums/collectables that i'm not fully in love with. I might cut out my weekly Lush bath bomb again too, they're getting pretty boring and the quality just isn't controlled! In the last couple of months i've had a northern lights that dyed my hands a dark pink and a golden wonder that fell apart into different sections pretty much the moment it hit the water. I managed to get through Amazon's Black Friday week without buying anything I didn't need in November, in fact, I think I only bought something for my cat. I was only really looking for a ...

Berlin Planning Update

Image
With Christmas and 2016 over and done with, it's time to look ahead to our plans for 2017! Our next trip that we currently have booked is our March trip to Berlin, and I figure its about time that we get started on planning! This is all we have so far, a small list of things that we'd like to see and do and only three days to squeeze it all into. My fiancé has been a few times before, he used to be in a band that quite regularly played small European tours so he has a couple of things he wants to try to squeeze in, like a trip to Core Tex but isn't too bothered if we don't have time to get there. Does any one have any must do's for Berlin? Or any idea which ones to pair together on the same day? Bloggers, I'd love to see your Berlin trip posts! 2017 List item no. - 26 Follow this blog on BlogLovin' Like us on Facebook

Happiness Is Here

I recently shared them over on my Photoblog but I thought i'd share them over here too! Back in September my fiancé and I visited Tokyo Disneyland again and got to watch one of our favourite day time parades together again - happiness is here. This year we saw it a couple of times so I managed to get some nice photos! Here are my favourite photographs from the parade. Follow this blog on BlogLovin' Like us on Facebook
