Next I built the Minnie Mouse version of the Tokyo Disney Resort Exclusive Mickey Mouse Yukata nanoblock. The instructions were pretty much the same, just a few slight changes with the yukata design, geta, lantern, and of course, Minnie has a bow! The bow bothered me a bit as you can't actually have it centred on Minnie's head, it has to be one block off to the side. Minnie's head was a lot more difficult to attach than Mickey's, I think I actually spent more time fiddling around with the head than I did building the thing! Last night my fiancé and I finally went to see Deadpool! Here is his review: Deadpool was amazing. This movie has everything you'd expect from the "merc with a mouth" from comedy, ultra-violence, cheeky jokes, sex, violence, X-Men, revenge, love, violence, horror, death, blood, scientific experiments, fire and violence. So following the story chronologically, it tracks the story of Wade Wilson, who falls in love with Vanessa, they have a lot of sex (a full years worth is implied) before getting engaged and discovering Wade is going to die from cancer. Wade gets an offer to cure his cancer and make him a superhero, which he refuses and then accepts, leaving Vanessa. Wade undergoes gruelling treatment from Ajax which leaves him horribly disfigured and he destroys the complex where he is being transformed. If i'm honest, at some point in the last ten years we stopped getting each other the 'true' Valentines Day style gifts as they tend to be all the same every year and they're generally just not something you can use - although I do love all of the Me To You Valentines Gifts he got me in the past, but now they're in storage because they just don't fit anywhere! I was really let down by the iPhone case though, and it took so long to arrive too! On Valentines Day my fiancé and I headed over to Newcastle's China Town to spend a few hours looking around during the Chinese New Year festivities they put on every year. We didn't get there last year as I couldn't get the time off work but I managed to get time off this year! It was probably the coldest it's ever been when we've gone to Chinese New Year as it started snowing in the hour or so we were waiting before the Lion Dances even started! I really enjoyed the day but there was only one downside - my Tomorrowland Pin was stolen from my bag at some point during the festivities! You may have seen my Disney Store haul post yesterday where I said i'd picked up a few of the Zootopia/Zootropolis Vinylmation blind boxes and now it's finally time to show you which ones I unboxed! I'm really happy with my pulls from this set, I got two of the three I wanted! It could have only been better if Yax had been Flash. Nick Wilde Judy Hopps Yax I don't know anything about Yax at this point as only Judy, Nick and Flash are in the trailer for the movie, but i'm looking forward to seeing it so hopefully Yax is a great character too! I wish my local Disney Store sold Vinylmation as having to buy these online and wait before you can unbox them is horrible - back when the Metro Centre store sold them I would go in, buy a few, unbox them and then if I didn't get the one I wanted i'd go back in and buy more!
