Rachel's Next Adventure

Back when we were in Florida we picked up a pack of freeze dried icecream and we finally tried it a couple of weeks ago. Personally, I didn't like it, so i've left the review writing up to my fiancé. We bought this on a trip to the Kennedy Space Center a while ago and we finally decided to eat it today, so after checking the date we opened it and decided to try it one section at a time. I don't know what I as expecting but this stuff is… different. I don't think I would ever eat this again by choice but I would definitely recommend everybody tries it once just to know what I am talking about. So first I'm going to talk about the texture. It's dry / hard and has the texture of Edinburgh Rock when you first bite into it. After that though the comparison to Edinburgh Rock ends because it quickly dissolves into a gloopy, sticky mess which dries your mouth out and makes swallowing a little difficult but not impossible. So, its time for that dreaded spending ban to resurface! And hopefully it'll go better than it did last year  but I have a feeling it might not. My aim is to buy a lot less Lush bathbombs, and only buy the Funko POP! figures that I absolutely need (like the Bob's Burgers set, anything Stitch and the new Naruto set). I'm also planning on cutting right down on buying sweets, because I buy a lot of them and end up throwing a lot of them away, but even the ones I do eat probably add up to way too much sugar. I'll probably only leave Europe once this year too, even though I would love a little trip to Walt Disney World for my 25th birthday, but at the same time, 1 week is pretty short considering we didn't get everything on our itinerary done when we went for two weeks back in 2014. It's not really about spending, but I also plan on sorting through all (or most) of the things I own and listing the things I don't want anymore on eBay so I can put more...

Last week my fiancé and I went to see Daddy's Home and here is what we thought of it. As written by my fiancé as usual. Daddy's home is a hilarious movie starring "Frat Pack" member Will Ferrell (Anchorman / Zoolander / Elf) as Brad and former rapper Mark Wahlberg (Ted / Boogie Nights / Transformers: Age of Extinction) as Dusty. Interesting fact about "Marky" Mark here, he was an original member of pioneering boy band New Kids on the Block with his brother Donnie Wahlberg, however he quit after three months. Sucks to be him… well maybe not, since he's probably doing better than any of the other members right now. So. As we start the movie, Brad is stepdad to Dusty's kids and Dusty is an irresponsible, crazy, wild badass guy who is superior to Brad in every way. Upon discovering that somebody else has married his ex wife and is raising his kids, Dusty decides to come back and try to get his family back by sabotaging everything...

This month there were four new release sets for TsumTsumTsueday - the first Tuesday of every month, and I just had to have them all! I got up after very little sleep and managed to order the full set, realising a couple of hours later that I'd just bought an Oswald even though I picked him up in Tokyo! but never mind. They're finally here - Valentine's Day Chocolate Box Valentine's Mickey Mouse Valentine's Minnie Mouse Oswald (I already bought him in Japan! Oops!) Now i'm looking forward to the Guardians of the Galaxy release on the 19th, but I don't think i'll be picking up the Zootrolpolis set (well, maybe a couple of cute ones). It's a bit late, but here are Decembers additions to our Funko collection! We're not really seriously collecting these anymore if i'm honest, but we couldn't resist getting these ones - and surprise, surprise! They're ALL Disney! I actually got this Stitch POP! for Christmas from my Mam along with two new Stitch Britto figures - she asked for an Amazon list of a few things so she could surprise me with one at Christmas and ended up getting me all three! I'd never seen this one before, but while we were wandering around the Metro Centre we saw a new comicbook shop - Stonerose Comics and had to have a look in. They didn't have much stock and until we went to get served we were the only people in the shop! But anyway, considering the Tomorrowland Pin on my backpack, I think it was obvious i'd be leaving with this POP!. We picked this one up from the Disney Store for my fiancé's office. While I was in Disneyland Paris in November I picked up a few extra Vinylmation figures for people to give me for Christmas, so after an agonising wait, I finally got to unbox them on Christmas Day! Mickey's Really Swell Diner I got one of these to unbox for Christmas, and unboxed the only other one I got in Paris! Pixar 3 I unboxed the chaser again! This is a new one for me though! It's the C.D.A (Child Detection Agency) from Monsters Inc. Star Wars An army of stormtroopers. C-3PO. I got four of these for Christmas, and three of them were Stormtroopers! On the UK Vinylmation group on Facebook it seems like a lot of people were unboxing full armies of Stormtroopers so I wasn't really that surprised when it happened to me too.
