On Tuesday night I noticed that Schuh had some new styles of Disney X Vans products in stock so at 9:40pm I quickly placed my order, paying £1 for next day delivery. On Wednesday afternoon my Schuh parcel finally arrived, although the box was very battered and broken, which is a shame as I was planning on using it to make a Christmas box for an unfortunate family elsewhere in the world. Nonetheless my shoes looked perfect. Here they are straight out of the box I can't wait until I have the perfect chance to wear them - probably right when this blog goes live as i'm writing this moments after unboxing my lovely new shoes. The print is a bit repetitive which doesn't work as well as it did with my Donald Duck DisneyxVans but they're Disney, Vans and Hawaii themed so I can't complain! My new Tsum Tsum's have finally arrived! They should have been here on Saturday - and my Disney parcel did arrive, just five minutes before I left for work on Saturday, so I quickly rushed to open it, only to be very disappointed as although the box had my name and address, and the invoice inside of the box was correct, the items were not! I ordered 10 things total, and Disney just sent me a designer doll instead, that I didn't even order, it was worth more than my entire order! Finally, my replacement parcel arrived on Monday as they upgraded my new parcel to express delivery, although the box did arrive a little battered and I haven't had a chance to check over the breakable items yet, here are my tsums! I should have learnt my lesson after booking the Eiffel Tower earlier this year really, although tickets did eventually come back on sale and I managed to get some for that. I know my to do list looks small, but in reality it's probably five times the size of that and I just can't think of what I need to do right now. We've done up a little timetable for our trip that we can change for the most part, we were just planning what to do per day rather than the actual days we're doing them on. Last Wednesday I went on the search for a chibi artist to draw me as part of my new logo and after an hour or two of searching I found Michael (SparksReactor) on deviantART. I sent him a message and within an hour he'd replied and we'd sorted out what I wanted and a price. He sent me this sketch preview later that night and in the morning I approved it and paid for it, by Friday evening I had the finished product in my email inbox. Here it is! The night I received it I got to work designing my new banner and thought I'd need something to balance it out - which is when I asked him to make this of my cat. During our trip to Barcelona we stayed at the Hotel Soho, we were in room 42 on the fourth floor. Our booking had this down as a double privilege room, but I don't see that as an option on the website so i'm not entirely sure what its classed as. The hotel was ideally located between two Metro stations and only a few stops away from all of the main attractions. Our room was absolutely amazing, it was big, comfy and looked great. When we arrived we found a sweet each by the bed and some information leaflets about the area and hotel, and which tickets we could buy from the hotel at a discount. The bed and pillows were comfy - we had three pillows each so there was definitely enough of them! There was also a warmer blanket in the wardrobe area which the housekeeping staff would put on the bed on the colder days. There was a mini bar filled with items but with 24hour supermarkets every 10 or so steps away from the hotel there was no need to use anything in there. Whe...

I'm pretty devastated about the weather we had, i'm not happy with how some of my photographs turned out, especially the Sagrada Família ones, but I guess we can always try again next time we visit! We got up around 7:30am, we'd packed the cases the night before so we were around 90% ready to leave as soon as we woke up. My fiancé got ready and went for breakfast, I stayed in bed before having a packet of crisps and a couple of bread rolls he snuck out of the breakfast room for me - I don't see the point in getting ready to go downstairs and eat a little bit of bread, just wish i'd thought ahead and not paid for it if I wasn't going to use it! Because the lights in the room don't work without the door keycard being in the electricity slot, I stayed in bed and watched a bit of the news while I was waiting for my fiancé to get back.
